The Songshan Lake Motion Control Precision Metrology Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the "Laboratory") is a public technology service platform funded by Songshan Lake Finance and commissioned by enterprises to operate. Its aim is to develop and improve the technological level of the local robot and intelligent equipment industry, lead the rapid development of the industry, consolidate the collaborative efforts of enterprises, and fully leverage the optimization and allocation of public resources for the development of the local industry.

The laboratory currently has a series of international advanced inspection instruments and equipment, including laser trackers, laser interferometers, three coordinate and height gauges, large stroke precision linear motion systems, motion control platforms, constant humidity thermostats, and gantry machining centers.
The laboratory mainly undertakes a series of testing and experimental tasks such as automation equipment calibration, machine tool parameter compensation, size measurement, constant temperature and humidity testing, and also undertakes the training of talent teams in related fields. The laboratory will provide free services for intelligent equipment and robot manufacturing and application enterprises in the park, and enterprises in other areas of Dongguan can enjoy a half price discount.
The laboratory adheres to the service quality policy of "scientific, fair, high-quality, and efficient", and has established a laboratory management committee and laboratory technical committee under the guidance of the Songshan Lake Management Committee, establishing sound laboratory management rules and regulations.
